The Tabungaw Hat

It is a traditional headgear: lightweight and strong – great for sheltering one’s face from the sun or keeping off the rain.

It can survive up to three to four generations if taken care of properly.

How is it styled?

Colors may vary: commonly, it is either dyed with a bright yellowish-orange color or a dark brown one.

It has a woven textile style with alternating colors at the bottom of the hat.
-
It is lined with a woven rattan to help fasten it to the head, and is embellished with a bamboo weave strip.
-
Inside, it has a bamboo woven textile texture with alternating colors and patterns.
